Charles Leclerc’s Italian GP win described as ‘extraordinary’

Charles Leclerc’s Push to win an Excellent Italian GP was hailed as”Outstanding” from Sky F1’s Martin Brundle after the Child held off both Mercedes, to the Joy of Their raucous Ferrari fans at Monza.

Leclerc asserted victory from pole but was under a constant danger from the Mercedes, first seeing off Lewis Hamilton after a few enthralling wheel-to-wheel conflicts – with the championship leader pushed off the trail at one point – until then remaining before Valtteri Bottas at the final stages.

Nico Rosberg, the 2016 world champion and long-time competition to Hamilton, stated:”An unbelievable drive. I understand how he felt at that car like I do not know the number of times because I had Lewis in my gearbox. The pressure Lewis puts on when he’s there, you can’t make the tiniest of mistakes.
“Leclerc made one little mistake but he rescued it beautifully, protected it and it was fantastic.”
Rosberg added:”Today is the sort of drive in which he demonstrated he could and likely will be a Ferrari world champion in another few years when the automobile enables him to perform it.”
The pressure is withstood by leclerc

His team supervisor, Mattia Binotto impressed.
