NASCAR at Watkins Glen: Vegas odds, fantasy advice, prediction, sleepers, drivers to watch

The Big 3 will appear to continue their dominance as NASCAR heads to the next road-course race of this year: the GoBowling in the Glen 220.

While Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick and Martin Truex Jr. are understandably the favorites once more, on this 2.45-mile track at Watkins Glen there are bound to be a few drivers, that one may not anticipate, threatening the leaders.

AJ Allmendinger has only two top-10 finishes this year, but with four top-10s in his past five races at the Glen including a triumph in 2014, he will be at or near the top all day as his competitive nature plays nicely on those street courses – even if Watkins Glen isn’t as technically challenging as Sonoma.

Denny Hamlin might not be quite the same type of sleeper pick as Allmendinger, however with five top-10 finishes – including four in the top 5 in his last five road-course races – that the 37-year-old has to be optimistic he could catch his first win of this season in New York on Sunday.
